Capri Cares is a fundraising organization created by Capri College to support local and national charities. Being family owned and operated, we feel obligated to help those within an arm’s reach. At Capri, we are a family and families take care of each other.
Who drives our service efforts? The student leadership team who steps up to support great causes like Relay for Life, breast cancer research, CUT IT OUT! domestic violence awareness, Toys for Tots, military families, flood relief and more.
Some of our give-back has included donating personal care items to flood victims, adopting families during the holidays, treating domestic violence shelter residents to a spa night, visiting nursing home patients and polishing their nails, reading to elementary school students, partnering with baseball players to shave their heads in support of pediatric cancer hospitals, holding chili taste-offs and bake sales and adopting a community highway! And when one of our own – a student – was injured in a near fatal accident we helped raise money for her family with a fun “Trivia Night.”
So how does beauty change lives? Every day in so many ways! Students experience a life change when they finally begin doing what they love to do each day. Stylists change lives by beautifying and increasing confidence in the people of this world. In countless ways both large and small, beauty changes lives!
